Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist (f/m/d)

For our client, an international company based in Zurich, we are looking for a dedicated Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist (f/m/d).


 

General Information:

 

• Location: Zurich

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 7 months with the possibility of extension or a permanent position after the end of the temporary employment 

• Working Hours: 100% 
   

 

Your Responsibilities:


 

 

• Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders
• Obtain and follow up order confirmations from suppliers, monitor delivery performance
• Maintain SAP master data and perform updates to SAP MM
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and re-solve invoice mismatches
• Support the further development and optimization of purchasing processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (digitalization & automation of processes, etc.)
• Process quality cases (e.g. defects)
• Act as interface between production, sales, development, suppliers and quality management

Your Qualifications:


 

• Commercial or technical background, further training in purchasing or logistics
• Minimum 3 years experience in operational purchasing or a similar role
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and must have good experience with SAP (S/4 Hana), especially SAP MM
• Experience in an industrial sector, ideally within the MEM industry
• Languages: Fluent English, German is only a plus
